Why on earth would I want to capture my birth in photographs? Won't there be graphic scenes and moments when I won't look my best?"

I totally understand your concerns and hesitations about having a birth photographer present. It's natural to wonder about the potential for blood and less-than-glamorous moments.

Here's the thing: while those photographs may not end up on prominent display in your living room, they hold an incredibly special place in our hearts. They beautifully narrate the story of your birth, capturing the essence of a truly unique and life-changing day.

But here's the secret: they're for YOU. They're a powerful way to transport you back in time, allowing you to relive every moment of that transformative day. These photographs are a tangible reminder of the emotions, the strength, and the love that surrounded you.

So yes, there may be moments that are raw and real, but they are a genuine reflection of the incredible journey you experienced. I believe that is something worth cherishing and celebrating.

You will be presented with:
- A private online viewing gallery
- Personal use print release
- Option to purchase other prints and/or products

Having a new baby is an amazing experience, but it can also feel like a lot to handle. As a new parent, it's important to take care of yourself and your little one during this special time. That's where a postpartum doula specialist comes in!

I provide you with helpful information and support on things like changing diapers, understanding your baby's cues, feeding (bottle and/or breast), giving baths, and meeting other needs your baby may have. Most importantly, I'm here to support you without any judgment, and want to help you figure out your own parenting style so that you can truly enjoy the early months of your baby's life.

Depending on what you need most, my postpartum doula services can include:
~ Help with the emotional and physical recovery after birth
~ Overnight support
~ Assistance with newborn care such as diapering, bathing, and feeding
~ Light housekeeping
~ Light meal preparation
~ Sibling care

I will always be ready to share referrals to local resources such as lactation support, parenting classes, pediatricians, etc.
